Key Responsibilities :
» Server Administration: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux & Windows servers and related software applications.
» Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Linux servers, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Managing Windows and Linux server.
» Security: Implement and maintain security measures, including access controls, firewalls, and regular security audits, to safeguard Linux systems. Adequate familarity in networking and hypervisor operations.
» Monitoring: Monitor server performance and proactively address issues to ensure the reliability and availability of systems. Overseeing the monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementation aspects of DRM wings.
» Scripting & Automation: Develop & use scripts (Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks & streamline system administration processes. Proficiency & familiarity in IBM Orchestration, Carbonite, Veeam, & Commvault. Familiarity in Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
» Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the integration of Linux servers with other IT infrastructure components.
» Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
» Upgrades and Patches: Assist in planning and implementing system upgrades and patches to keep Linux servers up-to-date and secure.
» User Support: Provide support to end-users for Linux-related issues and assist in user training as needed.
» Backup and Recovery: Implement and test backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
