About Position :

As a Moldflow Analyst you will execute Moldflow analysis of various connection systems products using Moldflow software and give recommendation to the product engineer for product optimization. You have to work closely with product engineers and collaborate with the team in delivering qualitative analysis reports and recommendations on time. You will collaborate with our Product Engineering team located globally in order to deliver the analysis requirements on time in achieving the goals of the organization in meeting the customer requirements.

Job responsibilities :

» Build and simulate the product for Moldflow simulation and analyze the results.
» Generate reports and discuss with product engineers on the results and share recommendations.
» Continuously collaborate with product engineer to ensure the expected product optimization achieved.
» Closely communicate and follow-up to ensure the project completion.
» Plan the analysis process and finalize in discussion with the team leader.
» Ensure the delivery of the reports on time in order to meet the product optimization deadlines.
» Continuously work on project execution efficiency and effectiveness improvements.

Your background :

» Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Plastics / Masters in Plastics / Tooling
» Minimum 2 years or more in automotive Moldflow analysis experience.
» Hands on skills in Moldflow analysis using Moldflow / Moldex software.
» Proven skills in Automotive connector / Automotive Product validation.
» Basic knowledge in product concepts.
» Stronger foundation in Plastic material properties, Plastic part design, Plastic mold design & Injection molding knowledge.
» Competence in manufacturing / Tooling.

We are seeking an experienced ASPICE Provisional Assessor to join our Global Product Organization (GPO) team at Aptiv. As an ASPICE Provisional Assessor, you will play a critical role in evaluating and improving the process maturity of our organization, ensuring compliance with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) requirements. Your expertise will help us drive process excellence, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain our competitive edge in the automotive industry.

Your Role:

♦ Assist in conducting ASPICE assessments of Aptiv’s processes, supporting the identification of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) to inform process improvement initiatives.
♦ Contribute to evaluating process maturity against ASPICE requirements by gathering and organizing objective evidence under the guidance of a Provisional or Competent Assessor.
♦ Learn and develop foundational knowledge of ASPICE principles, guidelines, and assessment methodologies through on-the-job training and mentorship.
♦ Work with cross-functional teams to identify improvement areas and assist in creating and tracking corrective action plans.
♦ Provide administrative and analytical support in preparing and maintaining ASPICE assessment documentation, including reports, findings, and recommendations.
♦ Participate in internal audits and management reviews to gain insight into the effectiveness of the quality management system and its alignment with ASPICE.
♦ Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our ASPICE assessment and process improvement initiatives.

Your Background:

♦ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, computer science, business administration).
♦ Minimum 2 years of experience in process assessment, auditing, or quality management, preferably in the automotive industry.
♦ Prefer ASPICE Provisional Assessor certification but not required.
♦ Basic understanding of ASPICE principles, guidelines, and assessment methodologies.
♦ Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
♦ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
♦ Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., PERSON, Six Sigma) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) an asset.
♦ Fluency in English
♦ Good to have
♦ Experience with Automotive processes and systems.
♦ Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 26262).

The position focuses on managing material data to meet legal and customer requirements for product sustainability and environmental impact. Below is a detailed job description for an IMDS Engineer in India.

Job overall Requirements :

» IMDS Data Management: Responsible for managing material data submissions on the IMDS platform, ensuring accuracy in material declarations from both suppliers and internal departments, and ensuring compliance with regulations like ELV, REACH, and RoHS.
» Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all materials meet customer and regulatory requirements, stay informed about relevant regulations and standards, and assist in global compliance with environmental and sustainability mandates.
» Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to collect, validate, and guide them on IMDS submissions, including conducting training sessions on compliance requirements.
» Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze material data to identify risks related to hazardous materials, generate detailed reports for stakeholders, and contribute to Life Cycle Assessments for sustainability.
» Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with teams like Engineering and Compliance to ensure efficient data flow and IMDS query resolution, supporting NPIs with timely material compliance data.
» Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives, recommend and implement best practices for compliance tracking and material data management.

Responsibilities :

» Responsible for processing the requests assigned from the SoC Team Supervisor.
» Responsible for notifying requesters to submit their requests to the correct request portal.
» Responsible for answering technical questions regarding Substances of Concern and regulatory data reporting as needed.
» Escalate to Soc Supervisor any doubt or SoC issue.
» Responsible for uploading the confirmation letter into the SoC Team request portal once the SoC report has been processed, so the letter will be available for download from the requester.
» Responsible for reviewing Suppler SoC reports and triggering rejection letter to the appropriate customer thru the system.
» Responsible for notifying CE if an incorrect weight is found on a part.
» Responsible of processing Customer requests thru the analysis of substances and population of required templates/formats
» Responsible of monitoring by trimester the list of regulations substances that impact the SoC group to make sure APTIV PNs are meeting the requirements.
» Responsible of managing the regulations that apply to SoC thru bulletins, where used reports, mile stones and timelines for replacing the prohibited substances, as well as following up the milestones with the impacted departments.
» Responsible of reviewing the impact of new regulations at APTIV along with Corporate team and creating an action plan.
» Responsible of escalating the process with high management or corporate when/as needed.
» Responsible of submitting SCIP numbers for the parts shipped to Europe.

Your Background :

» Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or related fields).
» 1-2 years of experience in IMDS data management, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
» Hands-on experience with IMDS software and material data submissions.
» Familiarity with global regulations such as REACH, RoHS, ELV Directive.
» Understanding of material science and environmental compliance.
» Proficiency in IMDS software, and strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills.
» Knowledge of PLM systems is a plus.
» Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
» Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
» Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
» Knowledge of environmental management systems (ISO 14001).
» Experience with supplier management or procurement.
» Certifications in sustainability or environmental compliance would be an advantage.
