The DB administrator is handling physical and applicative database administration activities supporting end 2 end life cycle of product from database perspective.
All you need is…
♦ Overall 2-4 years of experience in Database Administration and Monitoring.
♦ Good experience on PostgreSQL and Oracle Database Administration.
♦ Good understanding of PostgreSQL, Oracle query language – DDL, DLM, Query management.
♦ Experience on PostgreSQL backup and recovery management using pg_dump and pg_restore tools.
♦ Good understanding of PostgreSQL database internals, configurations and management.
♦ Monitoring Postgres, oracle database services and alert setup.
♦ Oracle Database sql and pl/sql, DDL, DML query Management.
♦ Good knowledge or experience on MySQL database administration.
♦ Knowledge/understanding of Oracle query tuning and optimization.
♦ Oracle database installation, configurations and database administration including backup and recovery.
♦ Knowledge of basic Linux commands and shell scripting to manage database administration and automate database monitoring and database jobs.
♦ Experience on AWS Aurora, RDS database administration.
♦ Knowledge of AWS Aurora, RDS, DMS, CloudWatch, performance insights.
