Responsibilities:
♦ Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
♦ Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
♦ Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
♦ Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
♦ Identifies discrepancies in results.
♦ Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
♦ Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
♦ Designs and develops electrical systems and equipment for power distribution, control systems, and automation.
♦ Creates and reviews electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings using CAD software.
♦ Conducts feasibility studies for new electrical engineering projects and provides recommendations.
♦ Performs electrical load calculations and sizing of electrical equipment.
♦ Ensures compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
♦ Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplines.
♦ Troubleshoots electrical issues and provides technical support for existing systems.
♦ Stays current with emerging technologies and industry trends in electrical engineering.
♦ Participates in project meetings and communicates progress to stakeholders.
Requirements:
♦ BA/ BS in Electrical Engineering or related field + 2 years of relevant experience (YORE) or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
♦ Proficiency in CAD software for creating electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
♦ Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA)
♦ Experience with power distribution systems and control system design
♦ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
♦ Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards licensure
♦ Experience with automation, PLC programming, and energy-efficient design practices
♦ Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) software and project management

Job Description :
Refers to the field of engineering dealing with the analysis and design of structures that support or resist loads. Commonly involved in the design and assessment of Railway and Highway bridges for UK Middle East and Australia Region.
Duties and Responsibilities :
♦ The candidate will be responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning, design and modification phase of projects.
♦ Performing assessment of bridges to National Highways and Network Rail
♦ Structural analysis and Design of Bridges and Viaduct Structures, Flyovers, Underpasses, Culverts and Retaining walls.
♦ Experience with bridge and related structural design schemes.
♦ Experience in road and/or rail projects with UK, Middle East and Australia projects.
♦ Excellent technical skills design.
♦ Able to correlate and interpret the data shared by supporting interdisciplinary teams.
♦ Problem solving skills, able to propose alternative solutions for problems encountered.
♦ Experience in complete life cycle of a design project within Highway/Railway environment.
♦ Able to work in a diverse team spread across different geographical locations.
♦ Able to provide guidance to Entry level Engineers.
♦ Able to work under minimum guidance / Supervision.
♦ Able to handle multiple projects and lead highly capable design teams.
♦ Understanding in various software packages ideally including MIDAS, Autodesk Structural Bridge Design, LUSAS with experience in Finite Element Analysis preferred.
Qualifications :
♦ Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
♦ Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK) or Progressing towards Chartership with relevant experience is Preferred
♦ 2+ years of design experience in structural Engineering
♦ Minimum 2+ years of experience working in the rail and road bridges and associated structural engineering schemes assessment to detailed design.
♦ Exposure to International standards such as Euro Code, British Standards, AASHTO, AREMA, DMRB and Australian Standards
