Job Description:

At NielsenIQ, it is important for us to be connected in many ways. As part of the Global Payroll Center of Excellence, the Junior Payroll Analyst will play a critical role in delivering Payroll Services across our Europe Region. This incumbent will work cross-functionally with HR and other internal and external Stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely salaries of associates, whilst also identifying and executing continuous improvements to processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

〉 Monthly Payroll processing activities, ensure pay is processed on time, accurately, completely and in compliance with all regulations.
〉 Deliver all year end payroll processes.
〉 Ensure all SOX compliant controls relevant to the payroll process are executed
〉 Support with internal and external audit and tax-related activities, including preparation of data and evidence as required
〉 Support with Finance and HR queries
〉 Build positive relationships to ensure successful collaborations to be able to respond to internal payroll questions, and handle ad-hoc payroll requests.
〉 Support with payroll and ad hoc reports as required
〉 Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

〉 Minimum of 1-2 years of payroll operational experience in UK and Ireland is mandatory.
〉 Experience across other Western European countries will be an added advantage
〉 Attention to detail, professional awareness, and sense of urgency for employee questions; be able to spot errors or exceptions quickly.
〉 Strong experience with Microsoft Office.
〉 Excellent communicator and collaborator.
〉 SAP / Workday / Alight/Strada vendor experience a plus.
