About the Role :
We, Asset Control Team, in Institutional Reg & Risk Tech Area, take pride in developing and managing our golden source Reference Data application called Asset Control, which is one of the very crucial applications in the bank.
So as an Engineer in the team, you will play a key role in some of our exciting projects and on-going enhancement like Cloud migration and Integration with other domain level strategic initiatives. Your key activities will be to work with business in understanding requirements and finally delivering those requirements. Some of the activities you do as part of that are like designing, developing, testing, automating, and deploying code and CI/CD pipelines as per the ANZ Delivery and Controls framework.
As an Engineer, you will
» Work with business users and understand & analyse business requirements.
» Work with Cloud engineers and Architects as needed.
» Write JIRAs and actively contribute to designing and solutioning.
» Be part of Agile Scrum calls and contribute to development and testing.
» Maintain high standards of quality in both code, documentation and release activities.
» Show strong sense of ownership and have flair for problem solving, new thinking and innovation.
What will you bring?
» Overall experience of at least 2 years in Unix/Linux, Perl, Java RDBMS(Oracle/ Sybase)
» Some exposure to having worked in Asset Control Plus/ Connect/ Workflow/ Data model/ Formula Engine/ Contour will be plus point.
» Good analytical & problem-solving skills.
» Good communication and team player abilities
» Some knowledge of Investment Banking operations esp.
» Data Management.
