Job Description :
AECOM is seeking an Engineer – Water Infrastructure to be based in Bengaluru & Gurgaon, India. Candidates will be responsible for the following activities:
• Contribute to engineering design assignments in a team environment on large-scale project teams.
• 2+ Years (Exposure to outside India projects preferably UK, USA, Canada & ANZ region )
• Having good hands-on experience with design tools like Civil 3D, MicroStation, Open Roads is must. Knowledge on tools like E-Survey, 12D,
• Having hands on experience with modeling tools like Water GEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, GeoPak would be advantage.
• Wet Utilities – Potable Water, Storm Water Drainage, Treated Sewage Effluent & Sewerage network (pressure plus gravity design experience with the help of AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Civil3D)
• Provide technical support to designers for relocation/shifting of assets, asset tagging, connection drawings, standard drawings etc.
• Clash Analysis experience using Navisworks
• Experience in working in Common Data Environment (ProjectWise and BIM 360)
• Capable for leading the project, coordinating with Lead Office, mentoring juniors and ensuring quality checks
• Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content.

• Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge in projects from concept to completion.
• Participate in the development of concept, preliminary and detailed engineering drawing, and plans, including general and drainage plan drawings, plan/profile drawings, section drawings, and detail drawings.
• Complete design activities to specified standards including earthworks modelling and design, sanitary and storm sewer design, watermain design, grading of roads and drive isles, lot grading, and stormwater management design of ponds and other retention systems.
• Assist in establishing processes for working with US/Canada offices; Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
• Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK).
• Highly motivated, hardworking, interpersonal, and enthusiastic team player that is willing to learn and adapt to change.
• US/UK/Canada Experience will be added advantage
• Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times.
• Able to see the “bigger picture” and take a birds-eye view of projects
• Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.

√ Experience with CAD software for electrical system design
√ Familiarity with building automation systems and smart building technologies
√ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
√ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Job Description :
Refers to the field of engineering dealing with the analysis and design of structures that support or resist loads. Commonly involved in the design and assessment of Railway and Highway bridges for UK Middle East and Australia Region.
Duties and Responsibilities :
♦ The candidate will be responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning, design and modification phase of projects.
♦ Performing assessment of bridges to National Highways and Network Rail
♦ Structural analysis and Design of Bridges and Viaduct Structures, Flyovers, Underpasses, Culverts and Retaining walls.
♦ Experience with bridge and related structural design schemes.
♦ Experience in road and/or rail projects with UK, Middle East and Australia projects.
♦ Excellent technical skills design.
♦ Able to correlate and interpret the data shared by supporting interdisciplinary teams.
♦ Problem solving skills, able to propose alternative solutions for problems encountered.
♦ Experience in complete life cycle of a design project within Highway/Railway environment.
♦ Able to work in a diverse team spread across different geographical locations.
♦ Able to provide guidance to Entry level Engineers.
♦ Able to work under minimum guidance / Supervision.
♦ Able to handle multiple projects and lead highly capable design teams.
♦ Understanding in various software packages ideally including MIDAS, Autodesk Structural Bridge Design, LUSAS with experience in Finite Element Analysis preferred.
Qualifications :
♦ Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
♦ Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK) or Progressing towards Chartership with relevant experience is Preferred
♦ 2+ years of design experience in structural Engineering
♦ Minimum 2+ years of experience working in the rail and road bridges and associated structural engineering schemes assessment to detailed design.
♦ Exposure to International standards such as Euro Code, British Standards, AASHTO, AREMA, DMRB and Australian Standards
