Qualifications :

Leaning and skills development will be focused on targeted solutions, primarily Renewables (Solar), Grid (Substation, OH Transmission, and Distribution) and EV Charging. This program includes instructor and computer led office and role-based training, solution introductory training (solution overview and typical deliverables) and on the job assignments. Upon successful completion of the approximate 3-week program, the professional will transition to an Engineering Technician 1 level position.
Key Responsibilities:
Participation in, and successful completion of all aspects of the accelerator training program. Training curriculum includes, but is not limited to:
√ Focused, Role-Based Training, comprised of general office skills/behaviors, Microsoft Office, technical drawing composition, and role specific design concepts/tolls, such as AutoCad Basics and Introduction to Revit

〉 Understands and applies Computer Automated Drafting Design (CADD), information modeling or other applications or design or modeling skills and/or design principles and practices
〉 Basic knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, departmental guides and Black and Veatch policies and procedures
〉 Basic industry knowledge and technology trends
〉 Basic knowledge of company quality program . Intermediate ability to interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned
〉 Basic knowledge of other disciplines
〉 Basic knowledge of construction and constructability practices and principles
