Responsibilities :
♦ Develop and implement custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
♦ Create dynamic and customizable templates that can be managed through the WordPress backend.
♦ Convert designs from tools like Figma and Adobe XD into high-quality, responsive WordPress code.
♦ Optimize website performance through best practices in page speed optimization, ensuring fast load times and a smooth user experience.
♦ Participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from planning and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
♦ Conduct code reviews and optimize existing code for performance and scalability.
♦ Perform unit testing to ensure code quality and take full ownership of the project.
♦ Collaborate with the design team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
♦ Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our projects are cutting-edge.
Requirements :
♦ Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
♦ Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
♦ Strong experience with PHP and WordPress framework.
♦ Ability to convert design files from Figma, Adobe XD, etc., into fully functional and responsive websites using code, not page builders.
♦ Experience in developing dynamic templates, themes, and plugins for WordPress.
♦ In-depth understanding of page speed optimization techniques and best practices.
♦ Knowledge of code optimization and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
♦ Strong skills in unit testing to ensure code quality and project ownership.
♦ Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
♦ Familiarity with React/Next.js is a plus.
♦ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
♦ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills :
♦ Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
♦ Knowledge of MySQL or other database management systems.
♦ Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
